Cara Schulz, a cancer survivor and green tea lover, has opened The Flower Pot, a holistic wellness shop in Burnsville that offers products ranging from medicinal teas and non-toxic beauty serums, laundry products, and herbal tinctures.
Schulz's interest in topics such as herbalism and aromatherapy goes back years, but the products she used while enduring chemotherapy for colon cancer further animated her zeal for better wellness through nature.
Given a 6% chance of survival, Schulz is now five years cancer-free and credits alternative health care products, including ginger teas and lion's mane supplements, for helping her through her treatments.

We’ve ordered some lotion and foams. I wanted to update you because we have tried the laundry detergent, and it is so reasonably priced and does a fantastic job. The face Food is effective and priceless. Customer service, shipping, and the products are all top-notch. I highly recommend this shop. You will not be disappointed.
What an adorable shop! We were back for our second round of the Cold and Flu Tea. It’s a special blend that really does help relieve those nasty symptoms! Also purchased a delicious 4 pack d9 seltzer. The proprietor was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Looking forward to learning more about life improving THC and CBD products next visit!
Calm, beautiful shop. The orange soda is delicious and so are both of the teas I tried. The tea is well balanced and definitely not medicinal tasting! I'm glad to have found something that's good for me AND I want to drink!
Late last year, I purchased a bottle of Flower Pot’s “Hair Food.” After I had children, my hair had thinned quite a bit. Not to mention, it wouldn’t grow any longer than to barely hit my shoulders.
