Cara Schulz, a cancer survivor and green tea lover, has opened The Flower Pot, a holistic wellness shop in Burnsville that offers products ranging from medicinal teas and wellness tonics and herbal tinctures.
Schulz's interest in topics such as herbalism and aromatherapy goes back years, but the products she used while enduring chemotherapy for colon cancer further animated her zeal for better wellness through nature.
The Flower Pot offers Medicinal Teas, CBD, and THC products, with the latter limited to gummies that contain hemp-derived THC and an even lower-dose line of seltzers.
Given a 6% chance of survival, Schulz is now five years cancer-free and credits alternative health care products, including ginger teas and lion's mane supplements, for helping her through her treatments.
